Agree the payment route
Before accepting crypto payment, agree the asset, network, amount and who pays the fees. A token name alone is not enough.
Verify the destination
Confirm the address through a trusted channel. A small test can reveal a route problem before a larger payment follows.
Keep a useful record
Keep the invoice, transaction identifier, date and local-currency value. Tax and accounting treatment depend on your circumstances and jurisdiction.
Plan the way out
Check how you will convert or use the payment, including fees and stablecoin risks. A fast transfer is only one part of getting paid.
